Level: Secondary-school students between the ages of 14-16 years old.
Time: From 25 to 30 minutes.
Skill: Reading
Objective: To make students recognize the parts of a text by means of reading a basic letter format.
Description:
•To introduce the class the teacher explains the learners about what a letter is for and what its mainly parts are.
•In order students understand about what the teacher explains, an image about a basic letter format is shown.
•When students are available to identify the parts of a letter, they are asked to write the parts on another letter format given previously by the teacher. 10 minutes are given to develop this activity.
•Then, some students are asked to hand in their letters to be checked later.
•Finally, the teacher wants that his/her students repeat this activity by reading other letter formats at home because they will be asked about this the next class.
